Dubai is constructing world’s tallest tower, Burj Dubai. The currently under construction tower measuring 512.1metres (1,680ft) can be seen in the “New Downtown” of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Once it completed in late 2008, it will be the tallest building in the world and new landmark of Dubai.

The building is part of a 2km² (1.54m²) development located at the “First Interchange” along Sheikh Zayed Road at Doha Street. The total budget of 4 billion US dollars project was designed by Adrian Smith. It scheduled for occupancy in 2009.
