One of our most versatile actors, Kamal Hassan, is, at present, busy studying George Bush's mannerisms by watching all the tapes of the US President's speeches and meetings. The actor is spending hours trying to emulate Bush's body language as a part of his homework for his next film Dasavatharam.
An excited Hassan, who plays George Bush in K S Ravikumar's film, confirms the news and says, "It is true that I am playing George Bush's character in Dasavatharam. In fact, the part where I play George Bush has turned out to be exceptionally good."
A huge set, which replicates the White House in Washington, has been built in Chennai's Film City.
Kamal Hassan plays 10 different characters in the film. Besides playing Bush, Hassan is also likely to play the roles of a Brahmin priest, a dwarf, a scientist, a fighter, a black man, a tourist guide, an old woman, a beggar, a young lady and an emperor.
"Hassan is surely playing a 130-year-old man, an old spiritual woman, a beautiful young lady and a rural tourist guide. He also plays a 7-feet-tall man, which was filmed using modern technology," says a source.
The source adds, "Being a perfectionist, Kamal spent hours till he got under the skin of all the characters that he plays in Dasavatharam."
Although Dasavatharam is a Tamil film, it will subsequently be dubbed in Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Bhojpuri and Bengali. The film's soundtrack has been composed by Himesh Reshammiya. At present, the film is still being shot in various locations in India and abroad. The movie is set for a Diwali release, on November 7, 2007.Dasavatharam Tamil Film In Kamal Hassan Acter Dasavatharam Tamil Film In Kamal Hassan Acter Dasavatharam Tamil Film In Kamal Hassan Acter Dasavatharam Tamil Film In Kamal Hassan Acter Dasavatharam Tamil Film In Kamal Hassan Acter
