Hollywood star Brad Pitt was the winner of the best actor award of the 64th Venice International Film Festival for his lead role in “The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford” by director Andrew Domink. Brad Pitt portrayal of legendary outlaw Jesse James in the film.
When asked to comment for his award as the Best Actor, he said: “I was really surprised and remain surprised. I really didn’t expect it.
“I was stunned,” Brad Pitt told reporters at a news conference at the Toronto International Film Festival. “My first reaction was, ‘Huh?’ ” Pitt recounted. “I did not expect it. It’s a great honor. I am honored to be part of the list of actors who won this award. I’m still processing this.
“The nicest thing is how excited my friends are for me and … to be amongst the lineage of people that have also been bestowed this honor. It’s a really nice honor,” the actor added
