84.37 Carats Diamond To Be Sold at US$35 Million
A brilliant cut D-color flawless diamond weighing 84.37 carats was displayed during a preview at Sotheby’s auction house in Geneva, on October 1, 2007. This is a rare big diamond that is estimated at US$ 28-35 million.
The largest top-quality diamond will be sold at an upcoming ‘Magnificent Jewels Sale’ in Geneva on November 14, next month. Before the auction, the excellent diamond will be displayed in Hong Kong, Paris, New York, Rome, Los Angeles, London, Dubai and Bahrain.
The record for the most expensive diamond ever sold at auction was a 100.10-carat stone that sold at $16.5 million in May 1995 by Sotheby’s Geneva.
