Srija and Sirish approach Delhi High Court
A state affair is now being made a central affair after Chiranjeevi’s second daughter Srija and her newly wed husband Sirish approached the Delhi High court for protection.
The couple reached Delhi today by road via Goa after they finished their secret marriage on 17th October 2007. They approached Delhi North Zone DGP and applied for Police protection. Srija’s lawyer Pinky filed a petition in Delhi High Court requesting protection for her newly wed clients Srija and Sirish.
Responding to the petition, the Delhi High Court ordered Andhra Pradesh State Government to provide protection to the couple. The court also asked Chiranjeevi and his family members to submit an assurance letter stating that there wont be any harm to the couple from their side.
Speaking on the occasion, Srija said that she is happy for her parents response. She is also happy and also would believe her father Chiranjeevi and uncle Pawan Kalyan assurance statements given to the media. She also said that she is very happy about her husband Sirish Bharadwaj and would also return to Hyderabad and stay with her in-laws.
