My Fashion Statement

“Fashion for me is more of individual choice and it’s most important to be comfortable with whatever you think is fashionable. First I used to wear what others used to suggest. At that time, so many fashion accessories were ‘in’ so I tried out a lot of such stuff without thinking how I would look in them. But now I feel that I have improved a lot.”

‘I don’t like my face’

“I do not consider myself beautiful. I think my face is normal or above average. Lisa Ray, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan - these are real beauties. Beauty is not skin deep. Actually, if you ask me beauty means how a woman carries herself - elegant, charming and little bit smart.”

How I discovered my beauty

“I was doing a musical during my school days with Roshan Abbas and Shiamak Davar and that time Shahid Kapoor was my instructor. We were 16 girls in the play but one photographer approached only me for a special photo session. When the saw my photo clicked by him I realised that I was indeed beautiful for the first time.”

White Beauty

“I have a dozen pair of denim and white, velvet shirts and I wear them everyday. I feel I look good in white but I am very shy of wearing dark colours because according to me it doesn’t suit my skin tone. Though I like printed wear on others but I think it is a big disaster when I wear them myself.”
