Krishnarjuna movie review

Strengths: Nothing at all, not even Nagarjuna.

Weaknesses: Everything including Nagarjuna, Mohan Babu and P Vasu.

My analysis: Krishnarjuna movie is a very slow and dragging movie which has no content at all. The director just wanted to say one message that “God is there and you just have to believe in him to achieve anything in life.” The whole story revolves around this concept. The script writer just built up the whole story believing in God and also his God concept.

The concept is good but not the story. None of the character could do justice to their roles nor the music is good. Krishnarjuna movie is a pure money waste movie.

Performances: Krishnarjuna movie has Vishnu in the lead role. He does the role of a weak and innocent servant who turns into a strong and confident husband with the help of his God friend. His role has many shades of Dhee movie role. His looks, style and body language is similar to that of his earlier movie Dhee. He doesnt show any variation in this movie.

Yuvasamrat does the role GOD Sri Krishna who helps Vishnu when he is in need. His role is a small one but is crisp and sweet. Nagarjuna is very natural in this role and performed with ease.

Mamtha Mohandas does the role of an rich and arrogant college who later changes into a loving wife. Forget about her acting skills but she has a lot of skin showing skills. She is slowly becoming a commercial heroine in Tollywood.

Collection King Mohan Babu does the role of a Sadhu or Sai Baba who comes for just one or two shots in the movie.

Nazar, Prema, Tanikella Bharani, Manorama and Naepolian are adequate in their roles.

Brahmanandam, Venumadhav, Sunil, MS Narayana and Bhuvaneswari tried to create some comedy in the movie but miserably failed.

Music by Keeravani is average. No good song, all are average.

Other technical departments are not mention worthy.

P Vasu who directed a super hit movie like Chandramukhi gave telugu audience a super dud called Krishnarjuna. There is literally nothing in this movie so there is nothing to talk about the director.

Story: Arjun (Vishnu Manchu) is a servant in a rich family who treats him like a slave. Nazar who is the head of the family wishes to get his sister (Mamtha Mohandas) married to rich business man but comes to know that her husband will die as soon as she gets married because of the fault in her astrology. So Nazar gets her married to Arjun and plans to kill him so that she can marry the rich guy in second marriage. What happens next, how Vishnu meets God Nagarjuna and what happens from there forms the remaing part of the story which should be seen on screen only.
