Tusshar Kapoor, who is sporting a funky new hair style nowadays, revealed to us that it is for the character he is playing in the Golmaal sequel Golmaal Returns. Tusshar is playing a hair stylist in this Rohit Shetty film.
About his streaked new look, Tusshar told us, “I have got four different looks in Golmaal Returns and this is one of them. I shall be seen in the looks of contemporary hair stylists.”
“To prepare for my role and bring authenticity to my character’s profession in the film I went to famous stylist Hakim Aalim’s salon and spent a whole day there observing him. I saw the way he holds his scissors, how he combs his clients’ hair and how he looks into details and talks with them,” he revealed.
“If you have been observing Aalim for the last few years you must have seen him change his hair do every 4-5 months. So shall I for my character. In the next schedule of the film I shall be getting rid of these streaks and have a completely new look,” Tusshar added. About Golmaal Returns, Tusshar said, “It is a sequel but the same story is not carried forward. The four main characters of Ajay, me, Arshad and now Shreyas Talpade in place of Sharman Joshi remain the same. I am again playing a mute guy.” His teaming with Sharman for the film was much spoken about as Sharman was Tusshar’s voice in the film. So did he miss him this time around? “Many have people told me our comic chemistry was awesome and we both also had a great time shooting the film so in a way I do miss him a lot. But, Shreyas is great fun to work as well.” In Golmaal Returns Tusshar has Kareena Kapoor playing his sister and Ajay Devgan his brother in law.
