After U Me Aur Hum, real life pair, Ajay Devgan and Kajol will be coming together yet again for producer Kumar Mangat’s Toonpur Ka Superhero which mixes real and animated characters. Director Kireet Khurana reveals the couple will be shown fighting animated characters in the film.
Disclosing further, Kireet tells us, “The film will see an animated character falling in love with Ajay Devgan. Ajay is shown married to Kajol and has two kids. He is a family man. He plays himself in the film. He comes to the town of Toonpur and meets the animated character. He avoids her and feels uncomfortable when she is around. The film will have a lot of fight sequences. Both Ajay and Kajol will be fighting with the animated characters in the film. It is about saving the good characters from the bad and will be shot in two parts. First 45 minutes will have a lot of reality and about one and half hours shot with the animated character.”
Sharing more information about his lead characters, Kireet says, “Kajol’s character is a bit boisterous in the film. Ajay is a bit controlled since he has always been that way. It’s going to be a lot of fun working with the real life couple since they have the star value.”
“The story is totally Indian and so are the animated characters. The characters will become a household name once the film releases.” says a confident Kireet.
When asked whether Ajay Devgan had interfered in the scripting of the film, Kireet admits, “Yes Ajay has made two changes. He has added a twist to the tale in the climax and also pointed out gaping flaws in the script which I had overlooked.”
