Actor turned director Atul Agnihotri is working on his debut venture Hello based on Chetan Bagat’s novel One Night At The Call Center. The movie will see Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif playing cameos. We spoke to Atul to know more.
“I got the story of the film through my daughter. She is very fond of reading books and once she told me - daddy read this book. I found that it was very authentically written,” reveals Atul on how the idea struck him.
The director says he has worked really hard on the film so he hopes it will do well. “We had set up a huge set so that it will have the look of a real call center. I visited my friend’s call center as well and he was ready to give me his call center but I instead decided to prepare a lavish set. The film has been made from the heart and will have everything - romance, comedy and thrill. I’m sure it will be liked by today’s youth and call center employees all over India.”
Any memorable experiences while shooting? “It’s very difficult to point out but we all enjoyed Salman Bhai being part of the club song. Bhai is the jaan of the song.”
The movie will also see Sharman Joshi smooching for the first time on-screen. He plays Gul Pang’s love interest in film. The music of the film has been given by Sajid-Wajid and the film is likely to release in May.
