A homesick Akshay Kumar is spending some quality time with his family in Bangkok where he is shooting for Chandni Chowk to China.
A source close to Akshay reveals, “He was feeling homesick and bored. Desperately wanting a break from his hectic shooting schedule he called his son Aarav, whose vacations are on and also wife Twinkle. Aarav also wanted to see his dad’s shooting. The three are enjoying their evenings after the shooting gets over.”Adds the source, “Akshay has also called his mother, sister Alka and niece Simran and asked them to join him. Bangkok is not new for Akshay as during his initial days he stayed there so it’s his first home.”
On the film, the source reveals, “Like in Tashan, he has done some daredevil stunts in this too which will be liked by all his fans. It has both comedy and romance.”
The shooting of Chandni Chowk to China is going to last for 3 months but in mid May he will be going to Egypt to shoot for the last romantic number for Singh is Kinng.
Singh is Kinng is likely to release in August while Chandni Chowk to China is slated to release at the start of 2009.
