Amitabh Bachchan’s loss is Ritiesh Deshmukh’s gain. Nobody knows this better than Oscar winning Hollywood actor Kevin Costner. Apparently the star of such hits as Bodyguard and The Guardian was at the bar of a posh LA hotel last week when he heard that Amitabh Bachchan was a guest there. Costner immediately expressed the desire to meet Big Big of whom he had heard a lot. Bachchan’s world tour crew members, who were also at the bar, began the job of tracking down the superstar.
But Costner waited in vain. Not only was Bachchan untraceable, but even Abhishek and Aishwarya could not be contacted. That’s when Ritiesh Deshmukh sauntered into the bar. Costner, unmindful of his disappointment over Bachchan, was pleased to meet the young Bollywood actor and willingly posed for pictures with Ritiesh. What did they discuss? Indian cinema and Hollywood and the opportunities of the amalgamation of the two. Costner also spoke of his desire of making a film in India with elephants!
