Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is currently enjoying a blissful holiday in London with wife Gauri and kids Aryan and Suhana. But sources close to the actor tell us that once the actor returns later this week it’s all work and no play whatsoever for the King Khan. Starting with Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi which he resumes on Monday and going into next year with Don 2, the actor will be working round the clock without any break.
“SRK will be back on the sets of Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi on July 7th. They have filmed for nineteen days. Another 2 months worth of filming is left - part of it will be done in Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai while some parts will be shot in Punjab later - after which the film will be finally wrapped up.”
“In case the shooting in Punjab is delayed, SRK will head down South for his home production - Priyadarshan’s Billo Barber in between towards the start of August. If not then he will go for a week as soon as he wraps up Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi which should be towards the start of September,” says the source.
But if you think that’s it … hold on!
“After Billo Barber it’s time for Karan Johar’s Khan in end of September. Now bulk of that filming is going to be outside India… in the US. And while he will be wrapping up Johar’s film, work on DON 2 will begin in January 2009. The filming for that will be divided between India and abroad,” informs the source.
While SRK the actor will be wrapping up his commitments, SRK the businessman will also be equally occupied.
“Till Billo Barber wraps up Shah Rukh has no day off… one or two days that he may not be on a film set will be used to film adverts for the products he endorses. And along with that he will be looking at scripts that Red Chillies will be producing… one of which is Farah Khan’s next film tentatively titled Happy New Year which will of course star SRK!” says the source.
It’s now wonder then with a schedule like that, King Khan feels the need for an uninterrupted family sojourn in London before the madness begins!
