A decade after grooving to sapne mein milti hain… from Satya, Manoj Bajpai has put on his dancing shoes again for Ganesh Acharya’s Money Hain Toh Honey Hain with Govinda and Hansika Motwani.Says Manoj, “I will be shaking my leg in a song Jhappi that has Govinda and Hansika Motwani leading the charge. I had real fun dancing with Govinda. The number also features the entire cast of the film that includes Aftab Shivdasani, Celina Jaitley and Upen Patel.
Though Aftab and Celina are paired with each other in the song in the song I and Upen have to argue with each other on one common interest.”
Manoj candidly admits that matching steps with Govinda was tough. “When I danced on sapne mein milti hain, it was very easy and natural but here there are really good steps which I have never done before so lets see how the audience reacts. I’m thankful to Ganesh Acharya, who is choreographer and director of the film. I had to practice real hard but while shooting the song we all had a great time. Sometimes Govinda was also coordinating with us,” he reveals.
Asked about the film, he says, “It’s a comedy film and my character is very funny. I’m playing a funky character and after doing serious roles it has come as a great relief. You can actually call this my first commercial movie with all masala in it.”
Money Hain Toh Honey Hain is releasing on August 29.
