Taking time off their busy schedule, Konkona Sen and Soha Ali Khan, participated in an event promoting under privileged children. Looking at the beauties stressing on education, it seemed like, if not actors, they would have surely donned the cap of a teacher. Clearly, education is a priority for both, Konkona and Soha. Konkona said, “I was never so aware when I was younger myself. I took education for granted. Today when I see so many children without basic education, I realize how privileged I was.”
Soha, who actively supports organizations that support child education, said, “I have done a lot of work including advocacy based on a certain amount of leverage I have as a public figure, in terms of spreading a message. Creating awareness is half the battle won.” Looking at the enthusiasm of the young ladies, we sure know education would be a lot more fun with them around.
