The film’s Theatrical, Video, Satellite and Music Rights put together fetched an astronomical price of Rs 120 Crore. INDIAN FILMS has bagged the rights. Why wouldn’t they? They just made a killing with Singh Is Kinng.
London Dreams stars SALMAN KHAN & AJAY DEVGAN (the duo that gave the Super Hit Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam) and ASIN, the Southern sensation who is also the leading lady in Aamir Khan’s GHAJNI. The Music of the movie is by A R RAHMAN, the Musical Genius himself.
I can hear a lot of OOOHs and AAAhs already in the film industry and elsewhere. “But would the price be justified after all…?” has become a Rs 120 Crore question. Recently, Ghajni was sold for a cool Rs 90 Crore. So, all of a sudden, Asin is part of 2 of the biggest projects in Bollywood. This film is all about a Rock Music Band’s rise and fall. So, the movie and music falls in the genre of Farhan Akhtar’s ROCK ON!! Shankar - Ehsaan - Loy hd already done wonders with the genre. And A R Rahman is undoubtedly the maestro… and he would surely won’t disappoint us. The only problem I have is with the male leads. Salman & Ajay are As-Old-As-Rock itself. I have my doubts… but let’s wait and see… what the script is all about.
