Aishwarya Rai has been out of sight for sometime now and that includes the promotions of ‘Pink Panther’ as well, which is the upcoming Hollywood release of the actress. Meanwhile the original Bollywood sizzler has decided to take a walk down the ramp, which comes as naturaly and effortlessly to her, as her engaging charm and grace personfied stance. Ash sashayed down the ramp, sporting a flashy brand with her pearly smile intact.
On the professional front, Aishwarya is all set to team up with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali for his next untitled project. Bhansali and Ash have already worked together before in ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ and ‘Devdas’, probably the biggest hits of the star’s career.
This time, the actress is reuniting with her mentor Sanjay Leela Bhansali for a new film, co-starring none other than her lucky mascot Hrithik Roshan - with whom, she’s earned much accolades for both their stunning chemistry in the hugely successful ‘Dhoom 2′ and ‘Jodha Akbar’. Hope Aishwarya and Hrithik are able to recreate the magic of ‘Dhoom 2′ and ‘Jodha Akbar’ again!
The move comes despite a past fallout between her and Bhansali post ‘Devdas’. However, it is now confirmed that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is to play the female lead in Bhansali’s next movie. Though this is going to be the first time for Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Hrithik Roshan for a project.
But the beautiful ‘bahu’ is undoubtedly feeling a little jealous of husband Abhishek Bachchan’s uproarious act in the film ‘Dostana’ alongwith John Abraham, as they perform a mock gay act in the movie, which is quite working its effect on her! As Aishwarya quips on both their hot equation, “I know, he (Abhishek Bachchan) has been receiving rave reviews.” Ash further adds with a mischievous grin, “Frankly speaking, Abhishek and John’s chemistry makes me jealous.”
The former Miss World also makes an appearance in her latest Hollywood flick, “The Pink Panther”. Even at this stage, she seems to be reigning the crest, being right on top of the world - her deserved place, where she rightful belongs.
Bhansali’s film is expected to go on the floor by next July (2009). If the news is true, then this could be Hrithik and Ash’s third film together after Dhoom 2 and Jodhaa Akbar. The chemistry between Hrithik and Ash was evidently palpable in their earlier two movies, and Bhansali surely must be counting on their on-screen magic to repeat the trick for his next untitled venture. The story is supposed to be a romantic narrative penned by the director himself.
Bhansali was planning on making ‘Heera Mandi’ but the film required a huge cast. It seems that the hassle of co-ordinating the dates of so many actors, has forced Bhansali to shelve the project for now, and instead go ahead with this mature love story starring Ash and Hrithik. Ash is however, currently shooting for Mani Ratnam’s ‘Ravana’, after which she will commence shooting for this saga.
