Dibakar Banerjee, Kunal Roy Kapoor and Sanjay Suri are unanimous in their opinion that the safety of Mumbai is more important than the fate of their films releasing.
’Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!’ director Dibakar Banerjee says, "I’m not at all worried about whether the cinema hall will be packed or not. I got call from the PVR people that people are watching the movie and have attended the first day first show. The main point is that the prevailing conditions in Mumbai should be calm as right now I’m worried about the peace of Mumbai and praying to God for the safety of the hostages that they are trapped inside the hotels. I request everyone to pray for them."
’The President Is Coming’ producer Rohan Sippy has also has same view about the current situation. He says, "We are concerned about Mumbai’s present condition and the box-office collection can be seen later. I have also canceled the music release of Chandni Chowk to China. It’s quite shocking to see what is happening to our city, so just pray for all of them who have become martyrs and for the hostages."
’Sorry Bhai’ producer Sanjay Suri says," I really don’t want to comment on this as I’m shocked to hear about the terror attacks that are affecting and will surely change the city. The box-office results don’t depend on the first day as it grows week by week, so it will be better to talk about it after 2 weeks,".
