According to you what is fashion: for me, it’s not about being fashionable; it’s more about being well turned out and comfortable. Like any 21-year-old, I like clothes and shoes! I do splurge on these. But my style, understandably so, is sportier rather than feminine.
How does it feel to be a sporty fashion icon: I look at myself as just a sports person and definitely not as a fashion icon. And there is no effort from my side to be one either. While playing games, I don’t focus on the fashion aspect but the comfort factor.
How do you keep fit? Tennis is a very physical sport and you can’t survive if you aren’t fit. I workout in the gym when I am not playing tournaments. I do weights and endurance training. It is extremely important to eat right in order to stay fit.
Your de-stress mantra: exercising, playing tennis, spending time with my family, Bollywood movies, music and of course watching oodles of TV.
Your most comfortable attire: Casual wear which fits me well. Trackpants, skirts and t-shirts are my favourite outfits.
Homebody or party girl… which defines you better? A homebody! I enjoy staying at home, spending time with my family. Going to a mall to catch a Bollywood flick with friends and family.
