Those who don’t know please read it here. Besides being a supermodel and a sex symbol Priyanka Chopra is also a very religious person. She attended Gurpurab Kirtan on Tuesday evening. The kirtan was performed by the Sachkhand Gurudwara Committee at Lokhandwala Gardens, where the actress was honoured with a Saropa.
A source close to Priyanka says, “Priyanka and her family are very religious. This kirtan is a yearly ritual and is organised around the time of Guru Nanak Jayanti. This year the Sachkhand Gurudwara Com-mittee approached the Chopras as they wanted to honour the actress.”
Priyanka says, “My father was at Shabad Kirtan at Kirtan Darbar and I wanted to be there. I have a lot of things to be grateful for this year and I felt this was the right occasion and place to give thanks to God.” About being inclined to religion, the actress says, “I do believe in God. But I am more spiritual than religious. I visit the Haidakhan ashram in Ranikhet every year for Navratri.”
