Tabu and Amitabh Bachchan were a treat to watch in the bitter sweet comedy Cheeni Kum. Finally, it seemed that there was an actress who could match the Big B.
Well, for all of those, who loved them, there is some good news ahead as the fussy actress has given the go ahead to director Balki to act in the sequel to Cheeni Kum, opposite the Big B. Tabu is known to be quite choosy and fastidious about her roles. But in recent times, the actress has signed two films, opposite the Big B. The first is Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi’s The Legend Of Kunal, based on the life of King Ashoka. Tabu will be playing the Emperor’s wife and the Emperor will be played by Bachchan himself.
The second film is Balki’s sequel. Balki will first have to complete Pa, which stars the Bachchans, father, son and daughter in law, Aishwarya. Cheeni Kum’s sequel is set for the year after next and the actress has been asked to keep herself free.
