Want to know how Aamir built those rock-hard abs? One thousand crunches in 55 minutes - and even his trainer was astonished. "It is is very difficult to do this at his age but because of his hard work he did this impossible," said Aamir’s trainer Satya. Satya said that Aamir was so disciplined that when it was decided that he should get a minimum of 8 hours sleep every night, he was to message Satya to confirm the time. "To get a good and sound rest he needed eight hours sleep and he used to SMS me before going to bed," says Satya.
Aamir moved his entire training to his house so that he could do the routine without being distracted. “We installed a gym in his garage," says Satya, "to get bigger results he ordered gym equipment worth 25 lakh." This determination started paying off soon. "His body started showing good results in three months and so I ordered professional equipment for him from the US, from a company called Tough Stuff."
Giving the breakdown of Aamir’s workout, he said: "We used to work on two body parts a day for around 1.5-2 hours followed by 45 minutes of cardio exercises. Later on we divided the days dedicating day one to chest and back, day two to arms and biceps and triceps, and day three to shoulder and legs. Every fourth day he would take total rest and then we would move on back to day one," he said. Satya said Aamir was "truly professional and a perfectionist. I’m eager to see how the audience views all the hard work he’s put in."
