2008 has been an eventful year in Bollywood. New faces, killer looks, gorgeous looking women provided ample candy for the eyes. But with the good also came the bad. We had hideous outfits, really bad hairdos and days that we wanted to gift our stars a mirror!

Sibling Revelry
We spotted the youngest Kaif sibling Isabella accompanying sister Katrina at most filmi dos. Turning heads like elder sis does, the rumour mill began working over time as many believed she was heading to Bollywood. And is she? Yes very much so but that’s after a stopover at the Lee Strasburg Film School in New York!
International Hoo-Ha
Pop singer Madonna came to India with husband Guy Ritchie and took Mumbai by storm. And while India still continues to love the singing sensation, the same can’t be said about her and hubby Guy. The two have now divorced one another!
Heart on his Arm
Saif Ali Khan openly declared his love for Kareena Kapoor. He got her name tattooed on his forearm. Just one problem Saifu - it reads more like Kayreena!

Playing Family
At the Jodhaa Akbar premiere it was time for some proper family pictures. We saw the Bachchan parivaar with bhaiya Amar Singh on one hand and choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant with (now ex) beau Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s mother.
Big Fat Bolly Wedding
Maanyata made it clear to all of Bollywood that she is Mrs. Sanjay Dutt. In a hush hush wedding that was so quickly organized that even Sanju’s sister weren’t invited item girl Maanyata became Maanyata Sanjay Dutt.
Poking Fun
Saif and SRK brought the roof down at the Filmfare Awards at the start of the year. Poking fun at Ranbir’s towel act in Saawariya, SRK thoroughly enjoyed his OSO victory one more time.
Ewwww!
Tanishaa turned out to support her sister and brother-in-law at a press conference for U, Me aur Hum. What she forgot in the rush to get to the venue was a visit to the hairstylist and a second before a mirror to wipe out that lipstick on her teeth!
When Mallaya Calls…
…. the good looking women come running! Vijay Mallaya’s parties are as famous for the food and drinks as they are for the glam quotient that is always very high at all of Mallaya’s parties!

Courting Trouble
Bipasha Basu brought “good friend” M S Dhoni for the premiere of Race. Her excuse was that John was out of the country and Mahi was available. But that didn’t stop the media from going crazy!

For months and weeks they denied being together. But once we caught them coming out of a cozy lunch there was no way Deepika and Ranbir could deny that they were very much in love!
Going Strong
Six months after having declared their love at Manish Malhotra’s fashion show at the Lakme Fashion Week in 2006, Bebo and beau Saif were back at the LFW letting people know that they were still very much together and still very much in love.
