Karan Johar
Media-savvy Karan Johar is quite a juggler. If writing, directing and producing extravagant dramas for celluloid and playing host to a star-studded chat show wasn’t hectic enough, the suave multi-tasker also lend his presence to quite a few brands.
Be it Chivas Lifestyle, Timond watches, ICI Dulux paint wherein he co-starred with Kareena Kapoor, luxury accessories giant, Louis Vuitton and most recently as the brand ambassador or Bru Cappuchino, KJo certainly know how to have his cake, er, coffee!
Farhan Akhtar
Taking a leaf from Karan Johar’s page, another filmmaker has jumped into the modeling bandwagon.
Unconventionally handsome and effortlessly stylish, Farhan Akhtar, who made his acting debut in this year’s smash-hit Rock On!, is the new face of Maruti’s latest four-wheeler, A-Star.
The Dil Chahta Hai filmmaker also endorses German watch company, A Lange & Sohne.
Shekhar Kapur
’Where the connoisseur treads, others follow. Unmistakably Digjam, suitings for the connoisseur.’
Does the slogan ring a bell? Sometime, in the early 80s, a debonair hunk in his trademark beard made a classy impression in a suiting commercial.
The man we speak of is Shekhar Kapur and today he is considered to be one of the most reputed filmmakers of India and abroad.
Mahesh Manjrekar
While he’s better known for his directorial skills in acclaimed fare like Vaastav and Astitva and subsequently playing a baddie in capers like Kaante and Run, Mahesh Manjrekar also lists modeling for Sirtex briefs and vests to his credits.
The concerned commercial, co-starring Mahima Chaudhary, had Manjrekar handling its behind-the-scenes aspect as well.
