In yet another instance of reel life imitating real life, Vipul Shah’s London Dreams - a story of two close friends, played by Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan, turning foes due to personal and professional rivalry - has a sequence that might give audiences a dekho into one of the most talked-about superstar fights in recent times. The one that took place last year between Shah Rukh Khan and Salman during Katrina Kaif ’s birthday bash.
After some ‘high-spirited’ fun, the duo had got into a heated argument when Salman made references to SRK’s ‘matlabi nature’ and SRK made digs about Aishwarya Rai in return. This verbal duel got so out of hand, that the duo almost became physical and exposed the hidden hostilities and unhealthy rivalry between the two.
Now, according to a source, in a high voltage scene in London Dreams, Salman and Ajay have a showdown which has an uncanny resemblance to The heated exchange of words between SRK and Salman. Says the source, “The argument takes place in a pub and has reference to professional as well as personal issues between the two. The lady in question here is Asin, who plays a common friend. Also there is a strong element of professional rivalry.
The scene is treated very similar to the actual incident that took place last year. The flare up scene has a mix of issues that are intensely personal with a lacing of professional one up manship.” Vipul confirmed having a confrontation scene between Salman and Ajay, but refused to divulge any details. Whether this will trigger another serious showdown, only time will tell!
