After recovering from injury and returning to Mumbai, Priyanka Kothari was back in Delhi for a short visit. She was in the city campaign for a BSP candidate this election season and in spite of peak temperature this summer, she enjoyed her time under the sun. Not just did she have a chance to campaign for her preferred candidate, she also cherished the moments she spent with her fans and friends. There was some brief hitch though with crowds blocking her way towards the event but she didn’t mind that, courtesy the kind of attention that she managed to gain.
Informs Priyanka’s friend who had accompanied her for the event, ’’There was a huge crowd that had started developing a few meters away from the venue where Priyanka was supposed to campaign. It only swelled further as we started approaching the venue. Even though she had come to the city to campaign for an election candidate, she herself got a lot noticed. She was quite happy that her fans and followers were cheering for her and calling out her name from a good distance.’’
Priyanka is pleased that Delhi summer didn’t deter either her or her fans on the day of campaign. ’’Though it was very hot, I met so many fans. I was told that even before my arrival, quite a few of them had blocked the road. I didn’t mind that though since they didn’t come with any wrong intentions of creating any trouble. They just wanted to have a dekko at the event which was about to take place. It was quite funny but overall a very good experience.’’
In those limited hours that Priyanka spent in Delhi, she also caught on with her family.
’’Time was quite short but there was no way I could have returned to Delhi without meeting my family. Even though I was there with them for just an hour, it was worth it’’, signs off Priyanka.
