Just a few days back, we had informed you about how Priyanka Chopra, the lead actress of Vishal Bhardwaj thought that the title KAMINEY was a sort of joke and that it would be changed later. We now bring you exactly how Vishal convinced Priyanka to sign on the dotted line for KAMINEY.
Talking to the press during the promotions of KAMINEY, Priyanka disclosed that she did not wish to do KAMINEY because she thought that the film would belong to Shahid Kapoor (mainly due to his double role) and that she would not get much scope to do anything. However, the brilliant and intelligent Vishal knew exactly what to say to convince her. As per Priyanka Vishal told her, ’’Look you refused to do FASHION too at the initial stage and see what you got after doing the film, so do my film!’’ Well, this left Priyanka tongue tied and she accepted the role.
Must say we too are tongue tied after watching Priyanka’s brilliant portrayal of the common ’Marathi mulgi’ in KAMINEY and hats off to Vishal for choosing her for the role.
