It is but natural to have soft corner for you family members and Salman isn’t free from it. Salman always shared a pretty unique bond with his brothers and Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan.
Though Salman doesn’t help his brothers financially, or do not fund their films, he does act in their movies even when the scripts have nothing great to speak about. It appears that his brothers have always used Salman’s star status to their advantage.
Arbaaz Khan “There are only three or four bankable stars in the country right now and Salman is among them. So, I really don’t have a choice.”
He adds, “Yes, he seems to be running our production houses but that is a fact. When I decided to do the film with him, I also felt that I am giving him one of the best scripts of his career. So, I am giving him back something, isn’t it?”
Sohail Khan adds “You can ask Salman-bhai this. I always ask him how much he got paid for his last him film and I make it a point to pay him a few notches higher. I, of course, take advantage of my access to him because I am part of the same family. But let me tell you that there were several occasions when he (Salman) said ‘no’ on my face.”
Well, how many times Salman has been nitpicky about the films he picks though!
