Former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham who has been slammed for her stick thin .figure has denied reports that she is starving herself
The pop-star-turned-fashion designer has long been subjected to tabloid speculation suggesting she eats very little.
However, the star has refuted it saying the claims are "irresponsible" and could have a negative effect on her young fans, Daily Mirror reported.
"I am fine - happy and healthy. It’s irresponsible when people obsess about my shape and size. I appreciate there are young girls and women who look to me as a role model and it is simply untrue to say I do not eat and I am unhealthy," Victoria said.
The 35-year-old wife of ace footballer David Beckham insists that running around her young kids and a healthy diet helps her keep in good shape.
"I have a healthy diet, a healthy lifestyle and plenty of energy to run after my three energetic boys and travel the world managing my fashion business," Beckham added.
