The couple at last took the first step towards their relationship, by exchanging the rings. The engagement of Bollywood diva Shilpa Shetty and businessman Raj Kundra took place at Raj’s home late Saturday evening. The actress looked ravishing in bright pink saree designed by Manish Malhotra while her fiancé wore a white Indian wear.
After the ceremony the couple came out to pose for the media at midnight, sources revealed. Shilpa addressed the media by seeking everyone’s blessing.However, sadly, on this special, family occasion Shilpa’s younger sibling Shamita was absent, as she is away, in the house of ‘Bigg Boss’. Now one may wonder as to why the actress didn’t wait for her sister and put her engagement on a hole. On this, Shilpa penned her justification in her blog.
She wrote, “It’s been a time of both joy and sorrow for me, the joy is obvious because Raj and I feel happy to take our relationship to the next level, but my sister Shamita is still in the Big Boss house and could not attend. She doesn’t even know... another good mahurat was a long way off and considering Raj’s parents and relatives were down from London for a week... it seemed convenient. I leave after a week to shoot for "Desire" to complete the film in Hyderabad. Raj leaves for the IPL workshop in Bangkok, which I’ll miss because of my shoot hence we thought it best to go ahead with this.”
Hmm, poor Shamita! Imagine uska kya reaction hoga after she comes out of the reality show???
