A few weeks back, Sajid Khan had taken a dig on critics at an awards function. He had dropped quite a few hints about the misjudgment of some of them and also openly challenged their stand vis-a-vis a few movies that they either appreciated to the skies or brought down to earth. One wonders though that in retrospective, does he ever feel that he could have toned down his act a little.
"Arrey main aisa koyi panga thodi le raha hoon kissi se? What did I do wrong? I just picked on those select critics who seem to be completely oblivious of what audiences want. May be most of the critics know what they are doing but then there are indeed some big critics out there who have goofed up repeatedly in the past", says Sajid in an amused tone.
The million dollar question though is that isn’t he worried about his stance regarding critics backfiring? After all his own HOUSEFULL is round the corner and a lot of producer’s (Sajid Nadiadwala) money is on stake?
"Perhaps not all critics would be kind to HOUSEFULL but what’s the guarantee that they would have been nice with their reviews had I not spoken about them in the awards function", questions Sajid.
Well, with Sajid being extremely confident of the film, now one looks forward to the audience response to HOUSEFULL, which releases all over on 30th April.
