Veteran actor Shammi Kapoor is all set to face the camera after years. Shammi who undergoes dialysis regularly will shoot for Imtiaz Ali’s Rockstar in Delhi with grand nephew Ranbir Kapoor.
Our source said, “Imtiaz wanted Shammi Kapoor for this special role in the film. To convince him, he went and met the Kapoor at the latter’s residence a few days ago. Shammi initially declined the role saying he has health issues.
However, Imtiaz and Ranbir managed to convince him. Shammi will now be flying to the capital on Friday evening to shoot over the weekend.
Shammi will be facing the camera after almost 12-13 years and is very excited about it.
