Actor John Abraham hurt his back severely while filming a stunt in which he had to jump from one freight train to another.
The shooting for producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah’s film Force was being held in Jogeshwari Yard. John was doing a stunt in which he had to jump from a goods train to another filled with stones.
Shah says though all precautions were taken, John lost his balance while doing the stunt and instead of landing on his feet on the freight train carrying stones, he landed on his back. The actor’s back took the blow of the fall and was severely injured.
Reports say John sustained as many as 40 injury marks on his back. Though he was in pain, he continued shooting and finished the day’s work. Incidentally, it was the last day of the shooting schedule.
The actor is nowadays said to be resting and recovering.
