3-metre-tall Man in Qing Dynasty?
The man in this picture that is circulating on Internet recently was said to be the tallest Chinese man Zhan Shi-cha 詹世钗 in 19 century’s Qing Dynasty.
The picture rumored to be taken around 1880 in Hong Kong.
Another picture surfaced was said to be his house, which the door was extremely high, more than 3-metre.
According to the historical archives, there was a Chinese man named Zhan Shi-cha who was born in 1841 in Wu Yuan of Jiangxi; the record also shows he was a tall man but no official record of his height.
If the story is true, then Zhan was definitely taller than the existing world’s tallest man record holder who is 2.57 metres height.
