A Priyanka Chopra and Govinda-starrer produced by K.C. Bokadia has no buyers even till today. The film then titled Ek Haseena Ek Deewana was made years ago when these two stars were not popular. The film is still in the cans waiting for buyers. The producer has even changed the titled to Aap Mere Hai Sanam so that he can attract buyers but to no avail. The film is a remake of a South Indian movie directed by Wilson Savla. It is about a man who is so obsessed with a girl that he goes to great lengths to get her.
Sources reveal that the film was completed some four or five years ago. Govinda had at the time quit Bollywood to join politics and Priyanka was not considered an A-list actress by buyers. “Bokadia, who was well-known in the film industry had made many big budget films then but he now travels by autorickshaw to sell his films.
His next film Challenge starring Sunny Deol and Tabu is also lying in the cans and has made him almost bankrupt. He is even ready to bring down the rates but has no luck,” the source says.
