Director Priyadarshan sure believes in keeping himself busy. He is not the one to rest on honors or brickbats but continues to go about his work of making films. As everybody knows, his film ’Kanjeevaram’ received the national award for best film this year.
The director is currently working on an untitled venture, starring Ajay Devgn and Akshaye Khanna. He just wrapped up a schedule in Tamil Nadu’s Karaikudi region and will now be shifting to New Delhi for the film’s final schedule in January.
The film also stars Bipasha Basu, who has been romantically cast opposite Devgn. The film is set in Bihar and has both heroes playing CBI cops. The film is said to be based on a real incident involving honor killing which took place in rural Bihar.
The film is by now 60 per cent complete. Priyadarshan will be shooting on actual locations in Delhi unlike his last schedule, where the entire rural Bihari setup was recreated at Karaikudi. The film will see both Akshaye and Devgn perform a lot of action stunts.
