He might be infamous for his wild antics but when it comes to bodybuilding, there is no beating Salman Khan. The actor, who is know for his buffed up looks and is considered a pioneer by many B-town fitness junkies, will be seen judging the bodybuilding contest -- Mr Mumbai -- to be held in Mumbai on March 6. And it’s all in his efforts to help promote bodybuilding as a sport.
To be organized by Mr India Shyam Rathe and Subodh Menon, the event will be held on large scale and will see participation from some of the most sought after fitness experts.
Speaking about the event, Shyam Rathi said, "I want to promote bodybuilding. And who better than Salman with the fittest body today to promote the sport? The event will be on a big scale -- and will have a 10,000-strong audience. Apart from Salmanbhai, other film folk like Arbaaz Khan, Rehaan Khan and Rahul Bhatt will judge the show. I would have loved to invite John Abraham too, as I have trained him for some time."
As for Salman’s enthusiasm for the event, Rathi said, "He was very happy and asked me if I was organising it myself. It`s a great opportunity for young people to showcase their talent and their bodies. I wanted Salman to judge it as I want the event to happen in a big way."
