Salman Khan’s London Dreams seems to be a jinxed project. No actor signed on seems to last longer than a few weeks.
The project, which originally belonged to Rajkumar Santoshi, was to star Ajay Devgan and Salman Khan. But with the Santoshi shelving the film for quite some time, Khan decided to take the project to a new director and thereby Vipul Shah made an entry into the film.
With Vipul in the scene, the director turned his attention to his hit formula Akshay Kumar for the lead role. And so it seemed that London Dreams was finally on its way with Akki and Sallu in the lead and Katrina Kaif playing the lead actress. And just when the film was picking momentum we hear that Akki was out and Bobby Deol was in. And now that too has changed!
“When Vipul Shah took over, the film was to star Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif. Then Akshay pulled out and Bobby was signed on. But now that has changed too and the latest news is that Bobby is out too and Arjun Rampal will be playing the lead with Salman Khan. And that’s not all… Katrina is said to have pulled out of the film as well!” says a source.
We contacted Vipul to find out who was actually a part of his London Dreams. “I am not talking about it yet. All that you read in media is speculations. I have not contacted any artist so please wait till I talk,” said Shah on sms. The original film was to star Ajay Devgan and Salman Khan. But with Santoshi getting involved with other projects like Halla Bol and Asoka, Salman who said to be very keen on the film decided to take the matters in his own hands and therefore approached Vipul Shah to make the film again.
